Never Abandoned
This month I have chosen to highlight Julia Kelejian. She is an amazing advocate for chronic illness warriors everywhere. *The chorus/bridge of the poem is the acrostic. Enjoy!
Juret anush. May your water be sweet.
Unexplored paths are not offbeat.
Listen to the gentle breeze whisper, “You’re elite!”
I know I am loved, heard, & seen. Psalm 147:3 is my receipt.
Alleluia, my faith is already complete.
Kousa bil Laban on a cold night warms the heart.
Entrees of prayer accompany each start.
Lord, I know you love me when I fall apart!
Each day journaling new words has become an art.
Jazzy tunes waft softly through the air.
Inviting shadows dance everywhere.
Alleluia, I declare,
Never abandoned, You’re always there!
Terrified in pain on this on this lonely day.
Flare ups stop everything as they begin their ballet.
No, this is not punishment but it does bring dismay.
Resting is productive is not just hearsay.
Self advocation is my powerplay.
Kindheartedness & knowing I am not forgotten goes a long way.
Give me a chai tea latte. Make it a grande.
Psalm 34:18 is proof the Lord is with me no matter how heavy the burden will weigh.
Struggling physically requires no spiritual x-ray.
Self-care is so important because our bodies betray.
Balancing on this beam is no fast relay.
Super fun hikes are really just me enjoying El Shaddai’s creative dossier.
A cotton candy sunset slowly covers the bay.
Whenever I feel alone I just pray.
In Your arms, I stay!
