Emotion in Motion
This is part 2 of a poetic story inspired by the phenomenal song "I Should Be So Lucky", by Kylie Minogue, & the wonderful Rick Astley song, "Never Gonna Give You Up".
There are times when people just don’t care.
There are times when no one sees you’re there.
No one reaches out. Instead, they just stare.
Love is an emotion in motion that you declare.
Lonely without love sets the stage with a single chair.
Falling asleep with dreams that you’re in the universe honey bear.
My heart warms while stargazing of your flair.
Not wanting to wake up because being alone really is a nightmare.
Mental images and emotions stir once the head hits the pillowcase.
Suddenly, there we were face to face.
On cloud nine, and filled with glee, let’s begin the race.
Smiling, you took my hand with soft gentle grace,
And said, “You are the only one I want to chase.”
Lucky in love my heart begins to let you trace.
Tonight’s dream I can never ever erase.
As the sun rose, I woke up with you in my embrace.
“Honey, am I dreaming? Pinch me just in case!”
To which you replied, “Darling, you I will never misplace!”
This is certainly quite rare.

With smiles and kisses all the way through.
Life is better with love because each day is brand new.
Who knew?
Know this is not something I want to unglue.
My heart is happily stuck to you.
Let’s slow dance while notes sail from the didgeridoo.
